Bridge to Benefits
Child Care Assistance Program

Once you have completed the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) application, you can mail, fax or deliver it by hand to your county human services office. If you do not know the address or phone number for your county human services offices, click here to use the Quick Program Lookup or click here to find it on the Department of Human Services' website.

In some counties, there is a waiting list to get CCAP. Even if the county where you live has a waiting list, we recommend that you still apply for CCAP because it may help your family access other benefits. Families in which at least one child in the household is eligible to receive CCAP are automatically eligible for Food Support with no asset or income test. However, the family must have applied and been found eligible for the Child Care Assistance Program but can still be on the waiting list.

If you do not know if your county has a waiting list, call to ask or click here to find waiting lists by county on the Department of Human Services' website.
